There's two shows in two of our
favourite cities just to brighten up the cold winter months.
|
|
Friday 5th:-
MEGADOGS PRE X-MAS BASH at THE NOTTINGHAM BALLROOM (formerly The Marcus
Garvey Centre) featuring:
BANCO DE GAIA,
B.T., and THE A+E DEPT.
With DJ EVOLUTION,
MICHAEL DOG and EAMONN DOG
|
|
BANCO DE GAIA
will be playing tracks from his new LP 'Big Men Cry' On Planet Dog Records.
Banco now has a full 5 piece band (live drums, guitar, bass and sax), and
is playing after the success of the BIG TOP TOUR in the U.S.
|
|
B.T. is playing out tracks
from his 2nd LP on perfecto records - E.S.C.M., again after massive success
in the U.S. on the Big Top Tour, as well as cover features in Mixmag, Muzik
and DJ. Believe the hype, for at last someone out there actually deserves
it.
|
|
THE A+E DEPT are one of
the best acts on stay up forever records - the liberators backed label
that defines the sound of the London underground acid-techno free-party
scene.
|
Saturday 6th
MEGADOGS STOCKING WARMER at LEEDS UNIVERSITY featuring:
BANCO DE
GAIA, YUM YUM, and SUPERCHARGER
With DJ MICHAEL
DOG, DJ TEMPLEHEAD and EAMONN DOG.
|
|
YUM YUM on
Sperm Records are one of tile leading acts on the progressive trance scene
- where if hard melodic house were to mate with trance, YUM YUM would be
the bastard offspring. The act are responsible for some 0f the biggest
club stormers of the last two years (the biggest that weren't pop tracks
aimed at the minister of sour cream comp-ill-ation or the charts) being
big in the boxes of our DJs, as well as those of the American progressive
house pioneers (Guy Oldhams / Taylor / Sacha +. Digweed)
|
|
SUPERCHARGER on Indochina
are one of the better bands on the now burgeoning big-beat scene. Well.
Produced, catchy, infectious, raucous all words used previously t0 describe
the bands output. Just back from a debut tour of the US. - they promise
to 'play a blinder'.
