DENNIS PERON ARRESTED PAIN RELIEF CANNABIS COUPLE DISCHARGED ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA VOTERS LEGALISE MEDICAL CANNABIS

The founder of the San Francisco Buyers Club has been arrested in a blow to the Proposition 215 medical cannabis campaign. A chronically-ill Bristol couple who smoke cannabis grown in their greenhouse only have to pay Ł 22 costs, after admitting cultivation. Both Proposition 215 and Proposition 200 were passed in the American elections, but there is uncertainty about how the laws will work.

The DEA held hearings into medical cannabis in 1986/7. Doctors, nurses and patients testified to Judge Young, who "accepted as fact" that cannabis is a safe and effective medicine.
